This week was a tough week at work. I was too worried about my future, my career path, my growth as an young engineer. Am I learning and absorbing as much as I can in this company?? Questions keep running again and again in my head.
"Why am I here? Am I a silly girl to stay? Should I leave as well?? sighh.. "
Demotivated by my peers, feeling down each day I'm at work.

Thank God for church friends, lifegroup members and leaders too.
After hearing Bro. Chow talk about his experience as a financial consultant, his work life, family and spiritual walk; I felt peace, calm and relieved.
Thank you Lord for hearing my prayer. Thank you for giving me friends, family and love ones that guide me through my spiritual life.

I will surrender my all to you and walk in your ways. For you have great plans for me ahead!

I was contemplating on whether to start my blogging habits. It's tough for me to keep updating my life constantly since I have started working. But I say to myself, I should jot every moment of my life down just so that I can look back and laugh at my foolish comments, smile at my old memories, dream about my younger days, and hopefully can tell my next generation what I have been through.

I have to admit, life is tough as we get older. How I wish that human beings are not as smart as they are now so we won't have to work so hard to achieve something call freedom and comfort which God has already given us from the start !! Sigh sigh sigh .. Why o why did God make human beings so smart !!

God, please give me strength, courage and wisdom as I enter the sinful world. Let me not fall into temptation but let me be a lighthouse to others. God, bless me and my future, Amen !!

Straws that made me think ..

Here's a thought ..
Remember when we were young, we used to make our own decision all the time and were very persistent with our decision..
For example, what colour of straws should I choose? What colour of toothbrush should I used?
I want the coke flavor lollipop !!
Give me the pink colour balloon !!
And when things don't appear the way we want to, we would cry and show our temper..
I still remember I always wanted everything in blue cus I wasn't a girly girl back then..
I would express myself through colours that's shows how boyish I could be at time..
I even fight with my brother for a blue toothbrush..

But look at us now?
Do we still react the same way?
I know I don't
Like the other day when I ate at this American restaurant at Chapel St.
The restaurant was just like the one Shawn Kingston shoot his video of "Beautiful Girls", very American style..
When they served us our food, they even brought a jug of straws for us to choose..
If I were young, I probably take about 1 minute or at least half a minute to choose on which colour is the best..
But, it wasn't the same now..
Is this a sign of us getting old?
We wouldn't want to use so much of out time and brain power to decide on tiny little stuff that wasn't important to us..

How I wish I am still a kid.
The only decision I make everyday is whether I use a blue straw or a red straw..
Goshhh.. they are so blessed !!

I am so addicted to this Taiwanese drama that it touches my heart..

Been buzy lately finishing off my assignments and reports before my finals..
1 more month then I'm done with UNI !!
Hurray for the 4 years of stress and anxiety ..
But will miss Uni life lots ..

This week is a semester break , Yip Yip Hurray !!
At last I get up late and not worry bout my uni stuff..
But somehow, God has to ruined it by making the weather ugly the whole week ..

It's raining the whole week and the temperature is getting lower each day ..
All my plans for the whole week was actually mixed up cus of the weather..
but however, God has gave us ONE fine sunny day..
the only day that I could actually take off my jackets, and wear shades..
How I missed the sun..
The day was amazingly satisfying for our not so small little belly.. opps =)
Yes.. we ate alot.. and we are now guilty for it. .

What I've Been up to Lately..

Shivering beneath..
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..
Tomorrow is my final year project presentation ..
yiekks, yiekks, yiekks..
A whole year of research and preparations have to be squeeze into a 10 min of presentation ..
bum, bummed, bummer..
Last few weeks was the most eye soaring week where I have to stare at the computer and wait for my program to load my model..
Do you know I have spend like 4 hours just to wait for it to work and I have 3 different models to work on..
4 times 3 is not 12hours by the way ..
cus you wouldn't know whether there are errors in your model..
so what had happened was I have to wait like 4 hours , and if my model is wrong, the errors will only appear after the 4 hours of waiting..
So frustrating..
I wonder who created this "brilliant" program ..
It was dreadful cus while waiting, I can't do anything else cus it will slowed down the process or my computer will just hanged..

So lesson learned..
I told myself never will I wait for something or someone..
so if you are gonna invite me out,
don't be late, cus I'm tired of waiting ..

2 more months till our final exams and off with 4 years of degree..
Can't wait till that moment..
I can smell it but I can't see it yet..

Seeing pictures of the business people that were in my batch graduating makes me wanna envy them even more ..

But what comes after graduating is a scary thought ..

dreadful week and no fun to release it !!

When I'm emotionally depressed I'll think through stuff around me..

Something came up my mind
"Why are people so lack of self esteem?"
Most of them are ..
Why do they need to prove that they are prettier, hotter or smarter, or famous ??
Or maybe they try to make themselves who they are not..
Plastic surgery just to fix some part of their face just because they think they are not pretty/handsome enough..
Back stab others so that they will sound innocent in front of others..
Try to impress the happening people just to be noticeable ..
Listen to some stranger's lies and trust them over your friends..
Selfish to get what they want for their own pride and glory ..

Why??
For What??

Does it make you happy after all that ??
Does it prove to you that you are better than others?
Does it change who you are ?

Self esteem, everyone has it..
But not everyone can control it well..

Please leave the innocent out of this and stay strong
for you are beautiful, you are strong, and you are one of the kind..

I was watching season 5 episode 7 of Grey's Anatomy a few moments ago and a part of scene touches me deeply..
We all know that life is a procedure where it starts from a little baby till we die at old age..
But not everyone goes through the same procedure..
Some may have shorter days and some may just go off in a sudden blink of an eye..
God created life and make death..
We cannot cheat it and we have to bear with it..
The most fearful moment is not the death of my own self
But it will be the death of others instead..
Losing someone is the most painful and fearful feeling one could have..
No matter how close the person may be to you,
They are still someone who has appear in your life and will remain in your memory..
Being 22 this year have kept me thinking about the future..
The job I am gonna take and the new challenge I will face..
As you grew older, you'll see more wrinkles and white hairs on your love ones body..
No matter how many pills of substance they take each day..
It will still give u a fearful thought ..
A thought of losing someone will soon to be witness..
All you gotta do is to pray for their health and honor them more..

You know that God have placed something special in your life..
But you do not know what is it ..
You can only wait and follow His plans..
The future does not only consist of happy moments ..
But also includes sadness..
It is scary and unclear..
Sometimes I wish life is just like a Gantt Chart..
Where u can see for yourself what is gonna happen

The food there was superb!! I wanna go back for more .. If can just for the weekends.. yes I know it sounds crazy but how can u stay away from it ..
I've never eaten fresh seafood straight from a market ..
cus most of Malaysian markets stinks..
and the Pork Ribs in Bondi Beach is to die for man ..
Awwhh.. How I wish I'm in Sydney rather than in Melbourne ..

Day Three

Day three was basically waste of time and money ..
I've spend almost 7 hours in the bus and only 3 hours on foot that day ..
and it cost AUD 28 just to sit 3 cable car rides and back to the bus .. I didn't even manage to explore more.. Stupid Chinese tour ..
The only worth paying was the bus ride ..
imagine 3 hours on foot for 3 places which means 1 hour per place only ..
I could only take a quick shot for each attraction and hoop back in the bus ..
The tour guide kept rushing us that I have to even swallow my lunch in 15 minutes..
Bad experience ..
No more chinese tours for now ..

It was such a sad news to hear him passed away yesterday..
He's a legendary pop icon.. a moonwalker..

As I walked down the shops in melbourne city, every shop I entered never fail to play his songs as a tribute to his death.. it was a sad feeling.. yes it was..
I'm not a crazy and loyal fan of his but his song was a childhood memory of mine..
I remembered when I was in primary, whenever I came back from school I would see his mtv on tv .. or sometimes even in the shopping malls..

People said he's a child molester.. issit true ?? could he be?

Best friends, close friends, hanging out friends, engineering friends, Australia friends, church friends, hall mates, class mates, uni mates etc..

All this souls have make me who I am today..
But true friends walk with u along the journey..

Friends = True friends + various kind of friends

How sure are u when u named a friend as ure "best friend"? Issn't someone u jus happen to hang out in the club and when ure drunk, u named her/him ure bff.. or issit someone whom u named "my bested ever friend" when u jus wan to be in a social mode or maintain in a social gang..

Life is a blast with friends but Life would be a threat if its a hypocrite, lies and self-contentment.

Then what true friends really are?
1. There to accompany u no matter wat situation. When you are too sick or too heart broken over a guy/girl or maybe u just gotten ure results, no matter what issit u wanna share it with them, or issit just a simple support that keeps u moving on each day..
2. You can feel ure true friends when they "want" to be u and not "need" to or "have" to ..
3. Friends who look after your back and back u up when ur under social attack..
4. Friends who care and think about ure concern and always try to work things out together.

Taking a break from my studies..

Yess I'm so obsessed with TV shows recently.. Cus the life here in Australia is so sad .. nothing that I can do besides watching series after uni hours.. I mean besides going down to city and having meals.. nothing much and it's so quiet here .. I was walking down the streets of my area that night and it was only 10 in the night .. Most of the houses lights were off and were dam quiet.. Not to mention.. the street looks like a haunted town.. especially where no street lights were on ..

I just came back to visit my aunt today in the city and I just got con..
My aunt brought this uncle who was their friend, along to have dinner with us and he was giving out $1000 to my aunt and cousin for giving him their tax file number..
I din wanna bother at first cus its none of my business but then when he ask whether I'm interested and ask me to give him my details too.. At first I was thinking $1000 ? free? There's no such thing in the world.. But then, when I saw my cousin and aunt receive the money and they trusted him .. So I was saying to myself, If they trusted him it shud be safe..
Out of the blue when I reach home, my cousin ask me to email him my details.. and I don't know why was I that stupid to emailed him .. Argghhh .. angry, frustrated, worried and scared... yes I after sending then only I ask my brother and parents bout it.. I shud have done it the other way round.. Why didn't I ?? Stupidity!!
And after all, all that I gain was a whole day of lecture from my parents ..
Arghh.. another trouble to add on to my stress in my studies..
Stupidity .. I hope everything goes well since I have already told that uncle that I didn't want anything to do with it ...

A Random trip from the Mount to the Pier

Why random u ask ? Cus it was a last minute plan on visiting Mount Dandenong for the sixth time of my life in Australia..
The original plan was to take a train from puffing billy to have some sight-seeing, but end up the tickets were all sold out and we have to go somewhere since we have rented the car.. @@.. so yes back to sky high at Mount Dandenong to take some pictures and watch the sunsets.. And we didn't even make it to the scone shop, Miss Maple,, yum yum.. cus we lost our way somewhere up the mountain ..
Wat a day .. and it all ended in a fine dinning restaurant, Blue Fire..
I remember last time I went there, it was good and prestige, but somehow they serve us badly and we have to wait almost 2 hours to start eating an "ALL YOU CAN EAT" meal!! cus apparently you have to follow the 3 course meal flow.. But it was an "ALL YOU CAN EAT NIGHT!!" argghh.. yesss stomach was growling and we were complaining.. Oh well, atleast it taste good..
The worst part was we didn't take much pictures at the pier by the restaurant.. we were just too hungry and rushing to leave cus we didn't wanna pay extra for the parking tickets.. WAT A DAY !.. oh well , at least we had fun by ourselves..
Last day of easter break, and monday blues is awaiting me again ..

But when there's out of pictures to post, is there still excitement to show the world ? The undying parties and drunk pictures would never fail to show up in everyone's blog including mine .. I could not deny the fact .. When time changes, when your friends starts to go their separate ways, and when you learn how to manage your life, for a sudden you feel you lost that touch .. The touch of having fun and be young at heart again .. the feeling of not worrying what will happen the next day or what people would think about u .. All u gotta do is just surrender your self and enjoy the moment and let things go on without any worries..

I just arrived at Melbourne at 10am today ..
Take 2 hours to get out from the airport and 1 hour to reach the house. .
And its freaking HOT!!
So Hot until I can just dose off and sleep without waking up ..
Back in Melbourne means busy
Things I need to get done :
1. Get my new house key from the agent on Wednesday
2. Arrange all the water,electricity,heater and internet line.
3. Move my furniture into the house.
4. Look for the remaining furniture in the monash market place.
5. Go see my thesis lecturer.
6. Go try and see whether I can get a new phone for free.

So far I haven't done anything yet cus was too died tired after the flight ..

Yes... it's my last week of summer break in KL .. sob sob .. 3 months is freaking fast ..

Today me and hanyee went to a pretty place today .. issit a restaurant ? issit a butik store? or issit a toy shop ?? confused at first but when u step in, DAMN!! This place is beautiful .. how i wish i own a shop like this .. it is named after the korean tv drama "Fullhouse" .. the one rain is in it .. haha ..

Yes .. my 1st valentine day is here and is over with sweet memories that will be cherish..

Let me share with u a little part of my sweet moments..
As usual.. I "assumed" he will just take me out in a o-kay restaurant and maybe buy me a bouquet of roses and maybe a gift or so ..
But it turns out unexpectedly that he has done the most sweetest thing that will never in a million years come through my mind for a guy .. I thought it was just on tv shows .. but this fairytale of mine has just came true ..

It all just began on 140208.. It was raining in the afternoon so I say to myself if he is planing of taking me outdoors he better change his plan to plan B at once or pray hard to God that the rain will stop immediately..
He told me the day before that he'll pick me up at 5pm for dinner and ask me to dress nicely cus his going to bring me somewhere nice ..
As usual, if the date is at 5pm, i'll be getting ready 1 hour ahead.. cus i hate people rushing me .. let the girl do her thing man !! hehe .. so as I dress myself up nicely, he rang and told me he'll only come and pick me up at 6.30pm .. In my heart, I was screaming " WHAT !!!" I was ready at 5pm itself .. and for a MALAYSIAN weather, I could easily make myself sweaty and sticky in half an hour .. "he better take me somewhere nice and cool!" ( I sound so bitchy after typing this)

While waiting ... a few pictures of myself wouldn't hurt a bit .. making use of my new camera cus i seldom play with it .. I found out new cool effects I can play with, with my camera.. wuhhoo..

Reunion Dinner at my place .. gosh the food came like half an hour for a dish .. and it was a ten courses meal.. my grandma is the one sitting on the left hand side ..and no that is not my grandparents on my right..

First day of new year, went back to Malacca for a reunion with my grandfather.. my grandfather married twice so this is the step side..

Second day, have dinner in my aunty's house.. these are my grandma's children .. the ongs'

and now i'm finishing up the new year's cookies in my couch watching tv everyday .. goshh wat a life..

A new year have just begin .. time flies so fast .. can't believe we're all older by a year, leaving 2008 and heading to 2009 .. tears dropping down my cheek knowing what 2008 has been to me .. sob sob.. well, I'll never forget the journey I have walk throughout the year.. The new friends that I have made and the memories that I have made in Melbourne . .the city that never sleeps ..
Living in Melbourne has brought me closer to my friends.. surprisingly the ones whom when overseas before me which I never give a shit on "keeping in touch" in Malaysia was the ones whom I talk to more .. Thank God there's this thing called the skype phone .. yea it may look useless but u don know its magic saving power. .haha. .
2008 is a year full of new experience .. It was the year where I first learn how to rent a house, how to deal with the bills and grocery shopping. It was when I spend one quarter of my time walking from one place to another plus it was the time when I uses public transport the most.. Do you know that I took about 20 minutes to walk to uni everyday..which means almost an hour everyday to uni and back to my freezing cold home and not only that .. the uni was super humongous-ly huge .. It was worst than the taman perdana park which I hate to jog in.. and to walk from my house to han yee's took about 40 minutes.. do you know how devoted am I .. haha jus kidding .. I don't really walk much to his house he comes to mine !! haha ..
I'll always remember the drunken nights of my friends and mine .. haha .. I still remember my first and last pass out moment .. It was dirty man .. vomited on my new aldo shoes.. pain !! haha .. I'll never forget my friends drunken moment too .. haha .. it was hilarious .. haha .. siew li if your reading u know what I mean .. I hate that u all are not gonna be in Melbourne next year .. why la why ..
Drinking is not the only thing I do there okay .. just to let my brother know cus he keeps teasing me bout it .. there's more great moments to remember. .I still remember the time when I went snowboarding, my board accidentally slide and hit a girls back .. next thing I knew her instructor came scolding me and he even threw away my board and it was stuck on a tree.. what a show off.. haha ..
Oh well .. we have to put down the past and carry on a new walk of life .. today, my best friend head off back to india to study .. why la why .. she only spend like 3 weeks here in Malaysia .. and I only get to see her once a year .. arghh .. so sorry girl if I didn't spend much time with you .. and I hope you take good care of yourself there .. will miss you much sister. . hope to see u in june .. yes .. she's coming .. and I'll give her an aussie treat .. haha ..

Merry Merry Christmas !! Ho ho ho...

Christmas time is the best time of the year .. Families gathered to sing Christmas carols .. Presents to be exchange and Christmas food .. hmmm ..
This year Christmas doesn't have the Christmas feel when I was young .. Maybe that's a sign of getting old .. haha .. not as excited to wait when the clock past 12 on Christmas eve.. no urge to go places or spent the time admiring the Christmas deco ... Did I not believe in Santa already?? haha .. Guess what .. This Christmas i didn't even watch a single Christmas show .. I know last time they usually play home alone the movie back to back on Christmas day .. That was old times..

Okay, let me tell u what did I do on Christmas Day ..
1. Go to Church
2. Went to Klang for seafood .. The crab is horrible
3. Went back home with a bloated stomach and just hang around watching Open Seasons on Astro.
4. Online shopping

Good times right ?? hehe .. Oh well .. Atleast I get to spend the whole day with honey lee..

Wow.. its been awhile since i write.. ever since i got back to Malaysia I'm to darn lazy to blog.. maybe it's because I was too busy hanging out and shop .. Oh well .. let me update my blog with my Gold Coast holiday trip ..

Okay firstly let me say this .. it wasn't a Gold coast trip when I was there.. Its a Gloomy Coast Trip .. Cant even enjoy the sun after staying so long in Melb with a temperature of almost 9 to 15 degrees everyday .. I wanted my tan .. Anyways, atleast I still get to enjoy the fun under freezing cold weather .. It was freezing when I was at the Wet 'n' Wild theme park man .. I dunno whether to called it fun or suffering .. haha .. Anyways let me show u some pics from my 4D3N stay.. The only pics that i did not take is the wet 'n' wild pics.. argghhhh .. cus i didn't want my camera to drop in the pool so I didn't any of it .. but atleast these pics below shows how awesome it was .. I can't believe myself I sat on ALL I mean ALL the coaster and slides .. Damn scary man ..

Superman Escape !! Wuhhooo !! Awesome man ..This was the scariest among all man .. 90 degrees straight down .. but it was the best of all coaster .. can't imagine I sat that.. and the funniest thing was before the coaster moves, they come out with a story line that goes like this " Oh no, the MRT has gone out of control. There's something wrong with the engine system." and then " Don't worry folks, Superman is here to rescue you!" and suddenly for a sudden I dunno why but I felt save after he mention this sentence.. haha .." Superman will save you !!"

see, I have to buy an umbrella too .. how pathetic was that..

fuuuiiii.... what a week ..

Sorento Trip .. We got lost finding the right beach but we end up playing net ball on a small little shore with colourful houses apparently its called "Buffing House".. Guess wat time we reached?? hahha.. almost 6 in the evening .. wat a day but at least we get to hang out together .. and pay a days' rent of 8 seater car just to play netball on a shore .. hahah..

This is a freaking big rainbow which i never seen before in my whole entire life .. It only happens once in a life time ???

After Exam Madness !!

Finally !!! Exam's over ! finished ! And I'm officially a fourth year student now !! hip hip hurray .. 2 weeks of torture and isolation from my social world have make me like a mad women now .. I suddenly feel so empty.. The feeling after days of hard work and stress suddenly disappears .. The emptiness within me that makes me feel like hibernating at home doing nothing but just to see tv series and sleep the whole day .. How could I do that ?? How could I feel this way? Shouldn't I supposed to be happy and rejoice like a free bird out from its cage?? Let's do an experiment on myself to see whether the impact of my final exams do really affect me that much ..

Straight after exam, off straight to the train station to the city of Melbourne !! tooo--tuuu--toooo--tuuu .... off we go !!

Our first destination is to a bar !! "Cho Gao" serve really good beer for a super great price during Happy Hours .. Guess wat? It's only $10 per jar and $5 per shots for students ..

Housemates reunion.. this might be our last time together as three .. Sadly, Kha Hing will be leaving on the 18th, myself 22nd and Siew Li somewhere January ... Sob sob.. Stockitiers foreva!! Tat was so dramatic...

Later on, we scroll down the streets of Melbourne to have one of our last moment together as the Engineers of Monash in the city of Melbourne while camwhoring most of the time at each corner... haha

My "exam period" housemates just ask me a stupid question bout some how to trick people in doing business .. I was actually studying half way for my exams.. oppps .. nah .. was just chilling myself by watching "wanted" .. it sux badly tho .. i hate the ending .. no OHMM !! anywayzzz.. back to the question.. they ask me this ...

If 3 person is to purchase a present with an original price of $30, that means each person will have to pay $10 for it. But then, the shop keeper gave them a discount which makes the present to be $25 now ... So the shop keeper give $5 back to them...

wait.. there's more ... from this $5, $2 will be given away to another of their friend let say "b"($5-$2=$3).. This means that it will give a balance of $3 and will be divided to the 3 friends which i mention from the start ..so each person only pays $9 in the end for the present..

So the trick behind this question is where did the $1 go ?? Did the shopkeeper took it ? or Mr. "b" ??

One year in Australia is never enough .. Look at how time past so fast .. The day before I was just thinking of what coat to bring for the winter and at a glimpse of an eye, Its spring !! Which means a month more to go where I would pack off and leave my so called "come-n-go" home.. Y "come-n-go" home?? well, basically my house,stocky, in aus last only for half a year and I was barely home.. Trying to experience everything there is in melbourne before I fly back home.. Oh well, I'll just have to face it ..

Life in melbourne will never be the same without my bunch of engineering friends.. It's sad enuf knowing we are gonna separate from all the joy and laughter and the only thing that can only keep us together is the stupid internet which i can barely feel them.. But there is a new task that God have given me to decide on.. To Stay or Not to Stay ? That's the big questions.. decisions decisions and decisions.. I hate it !! Can I be in the world of snow white where and can steal the mirror so that it will be easier for me to make decisions .. Haha .. I wish i could do that. . What makes me feel like staying is the KTV Lounge where i learn how to sing jay chou songs with full relics and the shopping spree where you can dress up in anything you want without letting people judging you around .. and LEGGINGS !! you can never wear them in malaysia cus is super duper hot back there .. cant stand the weather !! Gosh .. not to forgot the someone that helps me bring love into my life..
